Residents benefitting from better broadband
Superfast broadband is now widely available to hundreds of residents and businesses in and around Maiden Newton, and close to 20% of those who can access fibre broadband have already taken a service.
Superfast Dorset has completed the majority of its work to bring faster, more reliable broadband to the village and outlying communities. Residents in Cattistock and Chilfrome recently gained access to the new technology, too. The programme still has plans to extend coverage to Toller Porcorum later this year.
Remember you have to order a new fibre service from a broadband provider to benefit from faster speeds. Speed and availability varies between properties. Now is the time to check with a provider to see what is available to you.
Eligible businesses could get up to £3,000 to help cover installation of better broadband. This is a first come, first served scheme which will end when the national funding pot is gone. So apply now and don’t miss your chance!
