26th This Day In 2002 - Play Area Is Back In The Swing
Youngsters in Maiden Newton are enjoying and £18,000 refit of the village’s play area. The playground was closed a year ago after vandals ripped up equipment, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. Now new fencing, safety surfacing, two sets of swings, a slide, see-saw and other pieces of equipment have been installed.
