An Introduction to Beekeeping: Series of Day Courses

26 March, 2, 9 & 30 April, 7 & 14 May
The price covers all the dates listed; the teaching format requires you to attend all sessions. The course will provide a basic understanding in the practice and theory of beekeeping, and will certainly give you a buzz! The five day sessions will cover various aspects of beekeeping including the importance of beekeeping, the natural history of the honeybee, handling of bees and the equipment required, swarm prevention and control, pests and disease and products of the hive. You will also partake in at least 2 practical sessions in the apiary.
