Using Van Gogh as a case study, this day will be an introduction to working with, and like, the Masters. You will examine the way Van Gogh uses colours in his palette and the directional brushwork. Working in this way enables you to understand the methods of great artists and will assist your own work as you will be able to implement some of the techniques discovered in the process. Lyn will guide you through drawing, colour mixing and application through to a finished painting. No great artistic ability is necessary; all are very welcome to participate
